US-Philippine Society Visit
On January 25, 2013, board members and officers of the US-Philippine Society visited AIM to hear a presentation on the governance programs at the Institute. Angela Garcia, Executive Director of the Ramon V. del Rosario Sr., - C.V. Starr Center for Corporate Governance, led the presentation. Dean Ricardo Lim gave an overview of the research centers at AIM, and Hills Program Founder Mr. Roderick Hills, a former chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, talked about the background of the Hills Program at AIM and other parts of the world.
The US-Philippine Society is a private sector initiative designed to encourage economic ties, promote trade and investment, support bilateral strategic goals, enhance and expand cultural, educational, and people-to-people linkages. The Society’s mission is to build on the rich and longstanding historical ties between the two nations.
