As an accredited Institutional Training Provider on Corporate Governance by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the AIM through the AIM Ramon V. del Rosario Sr. – C.V. Starr Center for Corporate Governance conducted a series of two four-hour Corporate Governance training for 36 key officers of the EastWest Banking Corporation on November 5 and 6, 2015 at the GDLC case room in AIM.

With an aim to provide and assist the participants in understanding corporate governance concepts and frameworks, the training program focused on discussing the SEC mandated topics, which include the Revised Code for Corporate Governance, the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard and the SEC Annual Corporate Governance Report, Board Responsibilities, illegal activities of corporations/directors/officers and insider trading to name a few.

The RVR CV Starr Center's Executive Director, Prof. Francisco Roman, Jr. and Deputy Director, Mary Kris Camua, acted as resource persons for the training program.
